Types of Foam Cushion
There are lots more types of foam than you would imagine – the technology in this area has moved on quite a bit. Too thin then there is no comfort to be gained. Outdoor seating needs weather proof cushions even if you intend to bring them in each night you are likely to store them in your garage or shed. Work chairs need different cushions that support your back and if you have a medical need an orthopedic cushion may be the solution.
- Function of the cushion – if your foam cushion is purely decorative for example a scatter cushion for your sofa, then you will spend money on the cover rather than the cushion itself.
